GCF East’s Senior Pastor, Keith Ebrahim, and his wife, Linda, have faithfully served the Lord for many years in many different places and positions.  Interestingly, before they met, they were both called separately by Our Lord to serve as missionaries in the Philippines.

Pastor Keith attended Boston College and Rider College, where he graduated with a History major.  Afterwards, in January of 1980 he came to know the Lord through reading Bible prophecy.  Interested in learning more of the Bible, he attended the Word of Life Bible Institute in New York, graduating in 1981.  While there he was called to serve in the Philippines, and arrived in 1983 as a Word of Life missionary.  His main ministry was teaching office Bible studies.  A very self-motivated student of the Bible, he spent much time learning to preach the Word by listening to  sermons by the well known American Bible teacher, John MacArthur.

Meanwhile, Linda came to know Jesus at age 7, and grew up in Cinnaminson Baptist Church in New Jersey.  She went to Bucknell University as a music major, then changed to the Word of Life Bible Institute, graduating in 1980.  Linda and Keith missed meeting each other by only 2 weeks at Word of Life.  The Lord put a burden for the Philippines on Linda’s heart while in Bible school.  She finished a Music Education degree at Cedarville College in 1982, then worked as a bookkeeper at the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry for more than 5 1/2 years.

Keith and Linda finally met in October, 1987.  They had a brief courtship, and were married in April of 1988, after the Lord answered some specific prayers for both of them.  In January, 1989 they came as a couple to the Philippines.  Keith opened a branch of  the Word of Life Ministry in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao.  It included Seaside Bible Camp, university ministry, and youth ministry through Bible clubs.  Meanwhile, Linda did bookkeeping for the ministry.

They moved back to Manila in 1994, where Keith became Director of Word of Life Philippines for one term.  Linda home schooled their children. Returning to the USA in 1997, he was a pastor for 12 years.  This included starting Grace Bible Church in Trenton, NJ, and pastoring Jonestown Bible Church in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

In January 2009, Keith and Linda returned to the Philippines as independent missionaries of Lebanon Valley Bible Church.  For 5 years he worked with local churches, taught as a guest lecturer at  the Word of Life Bible Institute, and led home and office Bible studies.

In April, 2014, GCF East asked him to become our interim pastor.  In January, 2015 he became our Senior Pastor.

Linda plays piano for several of our GCF-East services. She also leads our Prisca Ministry for deaconesses and the wives of elders.

Keith and Linda have raised 5 sons! Linda loves reading and enjoys embroidery.  Pastor Keith enjoys reading and watching sports, especially American football.
